Finding tasty vegan food at restaurants is rarely a problem, especially in Worcester. These days nearly every restaurant in town has good veg options on their menu. But the restaurants below are shining stars when comes to vegan dining. Sure, there are other good veg-friendly restaurants around, but these are the best.

This all-vegan soul food take-out joint is a welcome addition to the city. Jamaican and American food. Try the curried chicken or the peppersteak over rice and beans. Vegan mac & cheese on Fridays and Saturdays. $6-$13. A local favorite. (See blog posts about Belmont Veg.)

The original all-vegan restaurant in Worcester. Formerly Veggie Corner, and before that it was Quan Yin. Chinese and Vietnamese restaurant with extensive mock-meat selection. Dinner priced under $8. Lunch special for less than $5. Take-out available.

Late-night food truck, parked outside the Dive Bar. Offers Tofurkey sausages and veggie dogs. Order the “completo” for a decked-out dog. Open Thurs-Sat after 9pm and some Wednesdays. Sometimes set up at outdoor festivals.
