Veg-Friendly Grocery Stores in Worcester


The truth is that you can find good vegan food at any grocery store in Worcester. Stop by a Pricechopper, Shaw’s or Stop-and-Shop and you can find mock-meats, egg-free mayonnaise, soymilk and tons of other great vegan specialties.

But there are definitely a few grocery stores in Worcester that really stand out when it comes to having vegan goodies.

Health food store with sizable vegan selection. All-organic produce. Fantastic non-dairy cheese and non-dairy ice-cream sections. Living Earth recently added daiya vegan cheese. This is the place to go for specialty vegan items. Check out the fridge for quick to-go lunches.

Wegman’s

Wegman’s opened in 2011. They have an entire vegetarian hot bar for lunches and many vegan specialty items like vegenaise, mock meats, wide selection of non-dairy ice creams, pizzas, vegan cheeses, etc.
