Buddha Hut Holding Buffet Fundraiser this Saturday [Event]
This Valentine’s weekend, Buddha Hut is sending VegWorcester some love. On Saturday, February 13 from noon-7pm the restaurant is hosting their monthly $10 vegan buffet fundraiser for VegWorcester. 10% of your bill will be automatically donated to VegWorcester.

Worcester’s Vegan Feed-in’s Just Keep Getting Better [Photos]
Our second “feed-in” demonstration was pretty sweet! This past Saturday, members of VegWorcester gave out a handful of vegan “chicken” samples along with literature about becoming a vegetarian. We setup outside the McDonald’s on Shrewsbury Street. There wasn’t a ton of foot-traffic, but there were plenty of people in cars who saw our signs.

Buddha Hut Makes The Top 10 Vegan Meatball in America
Earlier this month, the VegCooking blog rated Buddha Hut’s veg Italian Meatball soup in the top ten in all of the United States. Personally, I think their Heavenly Chicken greatly overshadows their meatball soup but it’s good to see this all-vegan business getting some national attention.
