Visit VegWorcester’s table this weekend at Pride & StART! [Events]

We had an awesome time at Open Road Festival, King St. Block Party and Pet Rock Festival last weekend! We met a ton of veg-friendly folks, gave out 800 Worcester Vegetarian Dining Guides throughout the weekend and even met a few vegan dogs at Pet Rock. Also at our Pet Rock table, we met a smart 5th grader, Summer who said she eats vegetarian! She has a cat (that weighs a lot) and said she likes mock meats. She will wear her new Go Veg pin and share the message of compassion for animals with her friends at school! Summer, you rock!

eekend we’re going to be reppin for the animals again!В This time we’ll be at 21st Century Worcester Pride on Saturday Sept 17th from 12pm-6pm at Worcester City Hall/Common, and at 2011 StART On The Street on Sunday Sept 18thВ from 11am-5pm along Park Ave.

($5) We’ll also have books for sale, a mailing list sign-up sheet and as usual- tons of information about how to help animals. Word has it, our favorite (vegan) ice cream truck will also be making appearances this weekend- Don’t miss it!
