Help us organize the 2010 Worcester VegFest! [Event]

At the end of April 2010 VegWorcester is holding Worcester’s first-ever vegetarian festival. We need your help. This event has been on our radar for almost a year now, with plenty of planning going on behind-the-scenes. We are now having weekly public meetings. You should come! We are looking for people to organize with us and to volunteer. This is a great opportunity to help us put on a really kick-ass event in Central Mass. Our next meeting is at 7pm at Tuesday, December 22.
Our meetings are every Tuesday from now until April. Help us hammer out the details and work out all the kinks. We are looking for people who can help coordinate speakers, communicate with vendors,В fund raise, and work with bands.В We’re not ready to post a lot of details about the event yet, but if you come to our Tuesday meetings you’ll get the inside scoop.

Not sure I can make meetings (I live in Clinton), but would like to keep up-to-date on what’s needed.

Interested in this Can’t make Tuesday night meetings – have a radio show on WCUW 8-10. But would love to do a public service announcement and promote the event and the mac n cheese contest this month, etc. Don’t want to put together a PSA without someone in your group involved.
