Boston Vegetarian Festival This Weekend
This weekend the Boston Vegetarian Society is holding their big annual VegFest. Free admission, free parking, free food samples. There are some great speakers lined up and will certainly be tons of yummy food samples. The chef from Atlantic Union college is giving a vegan cooking demonstration and Buddha Hut will be there with samples of their tasty mock-meats.
After many years of cramming way too many people into the Reggie Lewis Center at Roxbury Community College, this year’s event will be a two day affair. Same location, but hopefully spreading it over two days will thin the crowd a little.
VegWorcester will be set up both days at the Vegan Outreach table. Stop by and say hi. If you have some time to volunteer, email drew@VegWorcester.com. You’ll get a sweet free shirt.
If you use twitter, follow me @drewSaysGoVeg for tweets throughout the entire event. Also, if you’re tweeting from the VegFest, include #BostonVegFest in your tweet so others can search for it.
