The second season of Whale Wars is out! Join us at 8pm on Tuesday for the first episode of this rad new series.
What is Whale Wars?
It’s an exciting docu-drama about anti-whaling activists who take dramatic risks to save the lives of animals. The show follows the day-to-day lives of the crew aboard the Sea Shepherd ship, The Steve Irwin. They sail through the frigid waters of Antarctica, stalking illegal whale hunters. When the activists find them, they toss stinky “butter” bombs onto the decks of Japanese whaling ships to taint the whale meat, they throw ropes into the whalers’ propellers, and it looks from the sneak preview that the anti-hunting activists actually ram another ship. They’re a pretty bad-ass group of people.
